Annotation
The author shows the significance of archival researches in the work of voluntary searching associations that discover and identify remains of the soviet servicemen who were killed in actions during the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945. Reconstructed Frontal fate of the crew of the Soviet bomber PE-2, not returning from a mission in December 1941 during the Battle of Moscow.
