Annotation
The article contains analysis of the structure of Moscow joint-stock companies in 19th – the beginning of 20th century. It determines the role of Moscow joint-stock companies in the development of trade and manufacture of Russia. It analyses business areas of Moscow joint-stock companies, examines their locations in Moscow, gives examples of joint-stock companies. The article also investigates the reasons of wide spreading of joint-stock business activity and its advantages of other forms of business activities, particularly, of co-partnerships.
